a cute little "duck in" restaurant. the food was delicious, fast and SUPER filling. my spouse and I got a little bit of everything and left nearly needing a wheelbarrow for both of us. the person working the front was super knowledgeable and walked us through all the food options. for all the food we got it was inexpensive. i can't wait to come back! we got the catfish and chicken tender po boys, chicken gumbo with rice, fries, a hot honey and mango habanero chicken lollipop and the duck in smash burger.

Food was fresh, amazing and reasonably priced. Staff was awesome! I'll be back!
First the good. Great service friendly and engaging. Place is clean. The food that I was able to get was very good I had the fried bologna poor boy and the pork belly blt. Both great. Now the not so good no gumbo that is what I really came for and no voodoo pasta. And no chicken strips things all on the menu I got there when they opened so they didn't sell out I will try them another time and probably raise my review to 5 stars if the gumbo is good as all the reviews say it is . I am raising the review to 5 stars because I just ate the chicken enchiladas in there cold case and better than anything from a Mexican restaurant.
If you havenβt visited DuckIn, you are missing not only great food but look around, folk art with all kind of repurposed stuff, while your food is freshly prepared, Great Value, Fantastic service and you be the Judge of food !
Some of the friendliest employees here, nice folk. I just had the catfish po boy (only available on Fridays) and was very impressed. I've had po boys before but I'm pretty sure this is my first legit one, the bread they use makes a difference. The gumbo was delicious as well. Very balanced in spices and salt. Compliments to the chefs!
This place is great! Nice little family owned market/restaurant. Super friendly staff working there, you definitely need to be frequenting this place if you're in the area. Check out the chef's art while you're there! Oh, the food is great too, everything I have tried has been delicious. Really good burger, no reason to go any of the chain places around when this is right here! Oh, they have a nice soda bottle selection, as well.
Cute little spot to get cheap and well made food!! We had the gumbo and rice, kickin chicken lollipops, chicken finger poboy! The lollipops were my favorite, they werenβt too hot and they were delicious. Make sure you get here before 12pm! They are busy!!!!
I had the pork belly BLT po boy and red beans and rice and my wife had the gumbo. The red beans and rice and gumbo were fantastic, but the pork belly BLT po boy may be one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! The atmosphere here is great and the staff is very friendly. Definitely a hidden gem in the STL area.
